Finally.  !    took 8 weeks from deposit to delivery !  I am loving it. 

 

The weather has been changing all day and google was saying that 11-12 and 2-3pm would be thunderstorms.  Luckily they didn't appear . I really did not want my first ride to be in the wet. 

 

The salesman was ready , with all paperwork done . They added a connector for the optimate and DataTag for free. Goodo !  They also had a couple of minot ( very minor scratches in places ) not goodo !

I think it take a few miles to get used to the bike and wanted to do them today so I can rideout tomorrow and sunday but it will wait . 

 

The negatives?

Shark Evoline Series 3 in large doesn't fit. in the frunk .

I am too short to walk the bike backwards even on  the slightest of incline.  I will see if I get stronger ( or grow taller) and if not will have to get a lust lowering kit .

I cant walk mime backwards either and to be honest it is not worth the damage of a drop!

Why are there scratches on it?

Glad it has now arrived so you can enjoy it!

I'm probably just being picky.  It looks like the mirrors were attached with a metal tool as both sides have a small gnarled bit.  the front indicators have hairline grey scratches and the new SW-Motech Bars have a tiny bit of paint missing and look it looks brown like rust . 

All the kind of thing that I myself will do soon enough. 

 

I remember when I got a new scooter .  I managed to keep it absolutely showroom condition for 1500 until my nephew dropped it.  I stopped caring after that . didn't take long for it to look like i did the Dakar rally on it.

Well , I only heard about it yesterday but it looks like a pair of bars that look ring spanner shape.   Only £50 and I get  30cms lowered.   If I need to do that , I will.  Unfortunately , the side stand will need cutting ( or swapping for an S ) .  Possible the same for the Mainstand.  That is quite annoying as I paid extra for a SW-Motech one . Not even used it yet . 

 

Alternatives are

Lower seat ( Not an  option as they are nearly always more uncomfortable. 

Grow taller -   I have heard that people get their lost height back if they do yoga. -  but that involves doing yoga 

High Heeled boots -  worth looking into

 

will see
