Oh dear. I think it was Alien Resurrection where Ripley stumbled across a lab full of unsuccessful mutations, caused by cloning her with alien dna. Basically a room full of freakish failures. To me the Niken looks like it belongs in a lab like that. Should have stayed on the cutting room floor. Oh and having the extra leg puts it in the same territory as Jake the peg and we don't talk about him any more. Perhaps they will sell one or two to people who have never seen a motorcycle before.

No worries mate it’s quite sturdy.. Done this twice a year with my bikes since..?? ehh.. I don’t remember when.. I’ve made a sabot on top of the jack in front, it grips firmly onto the engines cooling grooves underneath.. Heidenau’ k73 SiO2’s fits this bike so well during winter time - next to none in rain and even if slush should apear in lower alpine or norwegian passes.. Take care out there..

I've been over Glen Quaich in both directions. That S-bend is definitely easier coming down than going up.

Andy, I chucked the original tyres on my "X" in the skip after less than 1,000 miles and fitted PR4's. Revelation just about covers it especially in the wet. Enjoy. Put it this way, if I buy an "F" in the future I would have PR's fitted for delivery. Geoff.

Well , I only heard about it yesterday but it looks like a pair of bars that look ring spanner shape. Only £50 and I get 30cms lowered. If I need to do that , I will. Unfortunately , the side stand will need cutting ( or swapping for an S ) . Possible the same for the Mainstand. That is quite annoying as I paid extra for a SW-Motech one . Not even used it yet . Alternatives are Lower seat ( Not an option as they are nearly always more uncomfortable. I'm probably just being picky. It looks like the mirrors were attached with a metal tool as both sides have a small gnarled bit. the front indicators have hairline grey scratches and the new SW-Motech Bars have a tiny bit of paint missing and look it looks brown like rust . All the kind of thing that I myself will do soon enough. I remember when I got a new scooter . I managed to keep it absolutely showroom condition for 1500 until my nephew dropped it. I stopped caring after that . didn't take long for it to look like i did the Dakar rally on it.
