Rear shock adjust

Hi, has anybody adjusted the rear spring tension yet? I noticed mine was set to max tension..and although the ride is slightly soft anyway, I wondered if anybody had been in and fiddled..out of interest like.

Don't know how mine's set but when my dealer fitted the panniers and top-box they said they'd increased the pre-load on the rear shock to compensate for luggage. The general feedback I've picked up from related topics on this forum is that the NC unit is pretty basic and there isn't anywhere near enough adjustment to cope with typical two-up touring loads. I get the feeling that rear shock replacement is going to be a fairly popular upgrade on our bikes, especially as they start to come out of warranty.
