Water from the exhaust ?

Took the cover off the bike today and there was a puddle of water under the exhaust next to the right hand peg. Never seen the likes of it before but it actually appears to be dripping from the joint of the Cross pipe under the engine. After taking pictures close up it seems there's a hole in the exhaust and I guess it's for condensation or rain ingress from the end pipe. Has anyone got any knowledge on this subject.

Yep, that's exactly what its for, condensation from a short cold trip or washing ingress. My CBF and CB 500 had the same type of hole at the lowest point.

Drainage hole at lowest point  most Hondas have this
