Guest Gugavfx
At a meeting with other NC owners someone find a leak from the gearbox of my S. And with only 500km (310miles) it look nasty. That was friday night and satarday first thing in the morning I was at the door of my dealer. They let her cool, Open the lid, check the o-ring and everything look good, closet it firmly, clean it and ... So far so good, satarday i ride all day and no more signs of the leak. I hope it's gone for good. Link to post
Guest martroy
I think you'll find that's not the gearbox, that's the alternator inspection cover that's leaking, probably fitted the o ring badly on assembly, hopefully they fitted a new o ring and refitted the cover. No more problem. Link to post
Argyll 1,334
No biggie. Shouldn't happen again. Go and enjoy the sunshine Link to post
Guest Flighttime
Mine did the same thing but I didn't bother taking it in. I just wiped it clen and there was no more. Probably just a little assembly oil on the wrong side of the oring when assembled. The engines always need a couple of heat cycles to get things settled down. Link to post
