Rear Tyre Wear

Hello everyone!

Just sharing my thoughts..

I noticed that my rear tyre is worn a little bit unevenly and by looking from the rear it seems that there is more wear on the right hand side. Not massively but a little bit.

I checked the rear wheel alignment to the marks on the both swing arms and it looks allright.

My daily commute to/from work involves lots of right turns and mini roundabouts - just wonder if this can be a contributing factor?

Your thoughts, please?

Thanks!

That's an interesting thought.. But then it should probably affect everyone..

as said above is road camber, if you will ride on the continent the wear will be more on the left side. also because we ride on the left side, on right curbs you will tend to get it at higher speed / lean, than left, this because you see better ahead.

My front tyre shows it a lot worse than the rear.

Worth checking your rear wheel alignment again. The swing arm marks aren't accurate enough. I use a simple alignment tool which clamps on to the sprocket and has a rod which points up the chain.
