sid 227
Anyone else had this? Went out tonight after work to get some fuel. When I tried to indicate to go into the garage, the switch was stuck fast, so had to hand signal! After filling up, I poked it, prodded and swore and it just started working again. It was stuck in the centre position and would not move left or right. When I got home it was still working, but I sprayed some teflon lube into it anyway. Seems ok now, but time will tell. 1 Link to post
kayz1 2,928
I have also found mine on the X-ADV to be stuck ( or need a firm push ) to get it to move.. I must take it apart one day and have a gander. Lyn. Link to post

I gave a quick squirt directly into the switchgear unit where the indicator button shaft comes out. https://3-in-one.co.uk/products/dry-lubricant-with-ptfe/ Link to post
motorbykcourier 293
I regularly spray my switches with GT85 - otherwise I have the same prob including the dip/flash/main I use GT85 over other brands as it is non corrosive and has PTFE in - slippy stuff !
