Base-Layers by a company called DXR

Recommended Posts

Steel Horse UK

Hi All

Purchased these from sportsbikeshop (I have no affiliation)

Thought I would mention that they are particularly good value for anyone looking for a set of base layers.

Well made and pleasing to wear, breathable, hot and cold! Impressive for the price!

Hope someone finds this useful

Good find.

Ghostbikes have nice folding rack on daily offer today, also 15% off clearance stuff (code - 15CLEAR) and if you're quick and use Quidco cashback link you get 7.5% cashback plus an extra £2.50 bonus cashback (before 6pm today only)

Just ordered two pairs of reduced summer motocross gloves, all in under £10 delivered!!

Thanks Mark, I normally go for Merino or outlast but at that price they were worth a punt.

I managed to get set of Helly Hansen base layers last year at half price (£17.50 for both IIRC) from Screwfix of all places.

I usually wait for Aldi/Lidl and go for the Merino,,, but these do not seem a bad price so like Mr Wilco says worth a punt

I bought the Aldi Merino base layer two years ago and they are excellent.

I wore my set from MK to Eastbourne on Sunday, the temperature was about 8c to 10c most of the ride and a bit drizzly.

I then just wore my Furygan textile jacket over the top and my armoured jeans.

Happy to report the base layers did not let in any cold. Lets see how they cope with 0c and minus, ouch!!
