I like the look of that.  I have owned 3 Deauvilles in the past, the last only sold last summer.

It does look more like an Integra, doesn't it? They've toned down the bat-bike looks a bit. I think it looks ok.

I fixified a transmission on one for a guy  local to me..dealer wanted 3grand to do it..TX was 2 grand, came in a box with two "O" ring seals and in American speak

2 quarts of transmission fluid/oily stuff and i think it was 6 or 8 new bolts...didn't have a clue what i was doing:muttley:but all info in the box...took 1 1/2 hours..old unit had to go back as well.

I could never get on with one but this guy and two others with them love them.

PS: new unit needed as NO parts can be bought only a new unit.

Ow! also...they stopped selling in Euroland as not up to exhaust standard, so if sold here they must have fixed the motor..

Story of my life, that. ;) But it’s not dull, eh? :)

The styling from the side is reminiscent of the CTX. I can’t imagine they will call it DN01 after that was dubbed Do Not Own One.

I have seen one of the previous model in a dealer show room, but never seen one on the road.

Says something about it’s popularity, or lack of.

Saw one on the approach road to the Humber Bridge a few years ago. No sign of the rider, I think he must have run away.

I'm with you on this one.

(Although in Trike form it does looks much better)

Looks like they have kept standard headlight bulbs too.

Slightly better than the old model but I still wouldn't have one.

What is going on at the back end? It looks like they bolted a scooter transmission onto it. How is that connected to the motor? Personally I think it looks like it got sucked half way through a black hole and then got spat out again.

God, I wish they wouldn't do that.  The chassis dynamics of a trike with the single wheel at the front are terrible: they are far too prone to flipping over when braking and/or cornering.  The proper way to do it is to have the two wheels at the front, Morgan style.

True but it’s easier to convert a bike into the two wheels at the rear Style.. at one time following my accident I was investigating having my CBF1000 converted.

That’s way out of my price range but if the day comes that I can no longer ride a solo the a Lomax might be affordable.

You don't need a lotto win to own a Disco Tex.

Shame about the Leslie Phillips go kart spoiling the view.   :ike:
