Good to see a rear hugger (assuming it wasn't an add on) but like many new bikes it seems it'll need a fenda extenda pdq.

Very Hornet like. Wishing Sue many miles and smiles with her.

My oldest son got a new  CB1000R recently and said it reminds him of his Hornet.

That’s bloody lovely, Rock. Tell Sue I’m rather envious and I wish her much joy from her cracking new bike. :niceone::niceone:

That is lovely. I hope Sue really enjoys it.

Only quibble is the front mudguard. Are they delivering the other half later?

Apart from aftermarket levers swapped from her old bike and a tank protector the bike is stock standard at the moment 😀

Saw a couple hooning passed me in the opposite direction yesterday. Dobles are throwing in a quickshifter for bikes ordered before the end of the month.

Not just Dobles that is a Honda offer available at all dealers.

Has she tried one?

Would having it fitted, even if not used, have had any negative impact?

I suppose it would make the bike more saleable/attractive come trade-in time.

Don't read this wrong, I'm just curious and wanting to understand pros and cons from one whose decided not to have it fitted, not criticising...

When I was considering fitting one to the Crossrunner (genuine Honda accessory) I asked around for advice from people with the appropriate experience and the general concenus of opinion that for the type of riding we do there was littl or no advantage. Sue took this into consideration and as the dealer made fan allowance against the already discounted extras ( still waiting for some to become available) and decided not to bother with it. As I said her decision.
