Picked up my bike today with light bar and lights fitted and powered satnav cradle optimate cable and heated clothing cables transferred from previous bike{s}

Can't think of anything else I want for it but I'm sure that might change.

A trade-in valuation?

I believe you've now had that bike "quite some time". Anyway, looks the business.

Don’t think I will changing for a while as most of the bikes I really like I can no longer ride.

Thanks for your comment reference the bike.

I agree. And that light bar ‘chunks it up’ a treat. I’ve seen loads of YouTube reviews of the latest model 500X and they’re all, overwhelmingly, positive. Obviously Honda hit the spot here. :niceone:

Whilst I enjoyed my 2 previous CB500X s this one is certainly an improvement. I think it may be around for a while.

That light bar looks awfully bare ...

... you know what you need?

More lights! :P

Nice looking bike Rocker', I've not seen one in that colour scheme before.

I hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

All the 2019 models I have actually seen are in that colour.

Thank you, I'll keep a sharper eye out for them.

There are a couple I see in the bike park at work, but they are older ones, a red and black and a red black and white one.

On my last two bikes, CB500X, Triumph T100 I had aux lights fitted and the difference with regards to my road presence was marked. On my new Burgman I only have the standard lights and in the first few weeks have already had a few SIDSY issues. Conclusion, aux front lights make a very large contribution to our safety.

Geoff.

Geoff.

That’s the main reason I have them fitted.

Looking really nice, a lot of bike for reasonable money. Sat-Nav cradle, how often do you use a Sat-Nav? I eventually got round to fitting a power supply for the Sat-Nav on the  NC and I've decided I hate Sat-Navs when I'm on the bike.

I only use it if I’m going to somewhere new. Even when I was touring I would use maps to get from home to whichever area was staying and then use the sat nav to find my hotel.

Did my share of camping years ago. Now at 72 I feel I deserve a bit of comfort.

I’m a bit younger, but my idea of ‘roughing it’ is a Travelodge without a bar.. ;)

There’s also a red one and a matte black. The white is much nicer.

I have seen pictures of those but actually seen one. I certainly wouldn’t want a a Matte Black one.

I've not seen the Dunlop 'Trailmax Mixtour' tyres before, as fitted to your bike.  What do you think of them and any noise from the front one?

They are fine in the dry but not yet experienced them in the wet or damp. I have not noticed any tyre noise.
