Hi All Knowing Forum

What's thebest grease for the sliders on the brake callipers, will silicone do the job?

That's what the manual says. I use a silicone grease with PTFE.

Red Rubber grease...

Castrol, in little tin from the bay of e...Or in a sachet from ya local motor factors...

I sometimes use coppa slip... But some slider pins use a plastic insert (cars) and the red rubber grease stops the rubber bellows from going brittle or bloating...

Looks nice and is sooo tempting to taste, like the castrol 10w30 oil.... Nooooooo dont taste it!

Local auto parts place sells small tubes of specific brake grease,   I have a tube of silicone base, and one of ceramic base. I use them interchangeably.
