Is the headlight bulb for the NC750X (2015) an H4 ?  Any preferences on bright ones?

Bought Philips MotoVison H4 for about £9 from Amazon, was doing job quite well.

Philips or Osram are pretty much on par, just be sure you get genuine ones from a reputable supplier, the auction sites are awash with fakes. I tend to use https://www.powerbulbs.com/ or https://www.eurocarparts.com/ or https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/h4-60-55w-headlight-bulb/ depending on what they have and prices at the time. Usually better value as pairs.

I think I'm on Philips X-treme power in most of my vehicles at the moment, I find they last typically 3yrs in regular use. You can get types made specifically for bike use (a bit tougher filaments, not quite so much light but lasta bit longer), however I don't think replacing every 3yrs or so is a big deal.

They are bringing out new versions at fairly regular intervals, not sure of the latest.

Swapped my OEM buld for an Osram Nightbreaker and it made a world of differernce from a dim yellow light to a bright white. I could then see where I was going at night. Definitely recommend to change.

I ordered an Osram Nightbreaker.  I remembered I used them in my R1150RT.
