Just wondering what people have paid for their 8k service ? will be at a dealer as only 6 months old ish and want to keep warranty

Looks to be just a oil & filter change

Depends if it's a 700 or 750 , big service on the 700 and minor on the 750 ,dealer probably about  £175ish if near Sussex I would do it for about £100 ,and actually do more checks and greasing

its for a 750 so a minor , have dropped a couple of emails out waiting for quotes , Sussex is too far sadly

Might DIY depending on price just worried about warranty

prolly same or similar to the 600miler...

From my recent experiance at Dobles...

3.4 lt 10w30 Fully Synth £34

Filter £11.18

Dct Filter £7.36

Odds and Sods, Environmental £6

Parts total... £25 (had a £10 discount voucher)

Charged 1hr @ £65 rather than the usual 1.2 for DCT...

VAT MAN! £25

£140ish rather than £160ish...

Brake Pads?

I made two successful warranty claims (exhaust & centre stand) and for neither did anyone ask or check my service book.  I'd DIY'd my 1st annual service (oil & filters) taking photos of the stuff used.

Make sure if it's a dct that they use 10w30 not 10w40 , sometimes dct doesn't like 10w40 !

Warranty claims will always be honoured as long as you have done nothing to compromise the bike . You do not ever have to have a dealer stamp , have to have service done at a dealer garage  etc etc .  If a claim relates to a service related item then it will be checked upon claiming.

Exactly what I did at 600 & 8K. Photos including of receipts uploaded to google photos. I could find nowhere in my documentation that stated "must have a dealer service it", just up to standard, genuine parts.

Big difference in quotes for same 8k service from 2 honda dealerships

Blade Honda £260

Booked in with Sutton's @ Bromsgrove

As always best to shop around
