MatBin 5,080 Posted April 15, 2020 Share Posted April 15, 2020 One odd thing I discovered was if the battery went flat whilst trying to start the thing (after the stop/start earlier mentioned) was the starter relay would then arc and weld itself shut, so when you put a fully charged battery back in place, connected the leads and turned on the ignition key the starter motor spin up without hitting the starter switch and wouldn't stop until you switched off the ignition and then had to replace the relay. 1 1 Link to post
