tw586 88
after spending the afternoon on my 2017 750X replacing both tyres and putting on a new chain, (original tyres, battlewings and chain lasting 15,000 klm) I noticed the front sprocket is not a tight fit on the output shaft, it has about .005" endfloat and has movement on the splines. Both sprockets show nil signs of tooth wear. being used to ducati's triumph's and yamaha's all of which have very tight front sprockets I found this unusual. My question to the collective is is this normal or do I have an issue, And what is the tension of the 14mm bolt that holds the sprocket on . Thanks in advance Link to post
Andy m 23,507
Honda designed it that way. Takes side loading out of the chain or something. Andy 1 Link to post
