Tex 36,816
When did you last change the spark plugs? It sounds as though it’s flooding. Link to post

Whiteshirt 0
Hi I've only had bike for a month. My mechanic seems to think it's a slight leak on the fuel injector as if I start bike before pump kicks in it will start. It's got 38000 mls on clock Link to post
SteveThackery 3,090
Could be a temperature sensor which is reporting too low a temperature, thus causing enrichment when it isn't required. That sometimes causes the petrol smell. Link to post
t5er 74
My first go to would be sit on the bike and retract the side stand. My bike has trouble starting when on the side stand or when on the centre stand with the side stand out.Flick the stand up and hey presto.I have considered looking into the connections but others on the forum indicate you cannot access the switch and to replace the switch it will cost you nearly£100. OUCH!!! Safe riding Link to post
