Guest EternalDragon
Over here we usually put our bikes away for winter. Taking out the battery is a delicate operation. Dropped one of the screws to the terminal but luckily it just fell through and was laying on the engine. The terminal screws were covered with white grease making them slippery. Just not that easy to get in the top case. Next year I may just leave the battery in and ride it twice a week in the cold. Link to post
Guest martroy
Leave the battery in and fit a trickle charger to keep it topped up ? Link to post
Guest EternalDragon
No electric in the shed. I tried to get in into the front porch of my house but the handlebars and mirrors are too wide. Edited November 16, 2012 by Oreo Rider Link to post
tc3 1,095
How about a trickle charver running by a small solar panel? Link to post
Guest Lockon2
Ditto the solar panel charger used one to keep the battery charged on a scooter which lived on the back of my motorhome and had no problems. Be safe Link to post
