Now a Cycle path walkway but runs along the old St Albans to Hatfield stretch of the Great Northern Railway. I believe last passenger service on this line was around 1951 and freight services stopped around 1968 and the tracks were pulled up. Then in the eighties I think the local council renovated the old disused track bed and created the walk/cycle way. The icing on the cake though along this approx. 6 mile route is that around 2015 onwards some of the disused platforms along the route were renovated. This one is Nast Hyde Halt Just in case anyone knows the area, I'd like to clarify that I didn't ride the motorbike along the Alban Way, as that isn't permitted. This is a few feet away from a point where the Alban Way crosses a normal road so I was able to push the bike into a prime location for the shot Link to comment
