djsb 493 Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 The 2 steel brackets with rubber grommets in them have been bent in my recent accident. I need to bend them back to their correct position before I fit the new nearside lower cowl (the bit of plastic that is just below and to the front of the alternator cover). Could someone take a photo of their brackets for me so I can bend them back properly. The cowl is easy to remove by removing 2 socket screws and pulling the tabs of the cowl outwards. I'm fairly certain that the brackets are bent but just want to confirm it. Thanks. Link to post

CFB 4,601 Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 David, if you measure the distance between the pegs on the cowl, then compare to the dimension across the centres of the grommets on the brackets fitted to the bike, that should give you an idea. Link to post
