Gear Box Problems

hi Guys,

 

with my new NC750x i am experiencing a bit of a problem with the 1st and 2nd gears. sometimes when i start moving on first, the gears make a clunking noise when realising the clutch slowly, then i press the clutch lever and accelerate more and start release the clutch and the clunk goes. even when i m moving slowly in traffic and i m on second gear, sometimes it makes the same noise. Any one ever experienced the same?

To my knowledge, mine does not make that sound.

 

My only concern is that if, for some reason, i have to decelarate very rapidly and leave gear in 5th while pulling clutch, then it is very hard to get the bike to downshift through 4th, 3rd, 2nd and eventally 1st. The gear indicator will show --- and selecting any gear to start moving again takes time.

 

Mind you, bike has only 150kmish so i think/hope that this will get better after the running in period.

 

Others on this forum may have better/diferent ideas.
