Bart Stilgo 428
Just a quick question on the rear brake caliper (not the parking brake) NC750X DCT 2016. (Mileage: 700miles) I have movement on the rear caliper. There are two fixing bolts and one is fixed and tight but the other has slight movement on it. It looks like it is rubber mounted. The bolt is tight. Is this correct? Link to post
trisaki 2,029
Yes worry when there is no movement I assume you are saying the movement is on the rear 12 mm spanner size one not the front 14mm one Link to post
Bart Stilgo 428
Yes it was the 12mm. Put a spanner on it to check it was tight. Many thanks Bob, Link to post
Trumpet 216
Its a sliding caliper. It only has a single piston, and has to move a little sideways as the piston presses on the pad so the 12mm bolt actually has a rod further down that slides in the rubber. Bart Stilgo 428
Right. Now I understand Thanks for the tech answer. Bob Link to post
