Guest Griffin2
I have just bought a new NC750XA in manual, since the 300 mile mark I've had three occasions when the bike has jumped out of gear(despite being very careful about placement). Has anyone else had this problem, it's got to the point where I am now just bimbling through the gears to avoid a problem. What's the view on this? Link to post
wendeg 95
I would suggest to give it some time to bed in. On my XA during the first 500 miles or so, if I had to decelerate quickly, the bike would not downshift. It would show -- on the display and I would feel that no gear was selected. Now the problem has gone away 1 Link to post
Rocker66 34,466
My bike is 3 wekks old having done just over a thousand miles and I have had no problems of this sort. I would reccomend that you have your dealer check it out Link to post
trisaki 2,029
Make sure you have some slack in your clutch lever also the right amount of slack in the drive chain rough guide about half to three quarters of an inch when you sit on it and check engine oil may have too much in it 2 1 Link to post
