Front disc replacement: recommendations?

I was advised by the dealer about 2,000 miles ago that the front disc would need replacing in 1500-2000 miles.  I've been trying to check prices.  Hard to do on line for OEM parts but a place in Germany seems to be selling them for £205.00.  Anyone know if this is ball-park? It sounds a lot of money for what it is (but don't motorcycle parts always..?)  I've come across pattern parts by Brembo and EBC that seem to be cheaper.  Any use?

Thoughts/advice welcome.

I would be happy with a disc by Brembo or EBC.

At only 12,000km my front disc is showing quite a lot of wear.  Pads are the originals.

Sounds expensive to me.

wemoto  have ebc for (my 2014x) at £134.72 - EBC would be just fine.

Regards,

Neil

https://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces-honda-detail-76060-76060-NC700XAD-2013-F_11-NC+700+X+ABS.html

lists them at £212

Be aware that the ABS and non-ABS are different part numbers, there are cut-outs for the ABS pole wheel to sit in. As others say, both EBC and Brembo are well respected (providing you get genuine items from  a reputable source, I'm sure there are as many fakes as anything else). Demon Tweeks for example show a Brembo disc for the 2013 NC at around £120.

Thanks, all. Someone on a forum (don't know who - maybe the owner?!) recommended these people:

http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk/

I've emailed them.  They say they have one in stock for £70.00.

That does seem cheap.  They claim to do their own manufacturing.  They are in London, so I'm tempted to go down there and chack the place out.  Not sure I'd be able to make a judgement, though, apart from an impression of the place/people.

ABE. I've used them for forks as well, good quality in the main.  They also rebuild shocks and sell used spares/bikes in a separate business.

Tri-Moto, Triumph specialists are also based on the same site.  Top fellows Les and Jason.  They are down the road from me.  Give a shout if you want help finding them as I go past every day!

Thanks, Makman.  I'm hoping I can get away with not changing the disc until I get back from the Welsh National Rally in 10 days time.  I have a cheap (nine quid!) micrometer screw gauge on order from Amazon to check the tolerance.  I'll let you know if I need help finding them. I think they are at the south side of the Blackwall Tunnel somewhere, but it has changed somewhat since the days when I used to visit the notorious Tunnel Club.  I remember seeing, inter alia, Vick Reeves there, before he was famous.  Got booed off in a shower of beer cans within seconds.....

What's going on with the NC brake discs?  Mine looks like it's quite grooved.  I've had to replace discs occasionally because they had warped but never because of wear.

Quick update. I put an extra 800 miles on, during the Welsh trip, without any problem.  Before I went I had a puncture and had to get the tyre repaired. Since the tyre place (FWR, Kennington) also does stuff like disks and pads I booked it in for my return, also to get the MoT done at the same time.  They ordered me an aftermarket disk (Silverline, I think) for £115 and fitted it for me.  So I paid a bit extra but avoided the hassle of trying to fit it myself.  I'm happy enough. Bring on the next 35,000 miles :D

How many miles Graham ?

Mine still look fine after 24k, slight lip but nothing worth worrying about.

Mind you I don't use the abrasive fully sintered HH pads, which wear the rotor more. I find that the EBC V-Pads work well, better that OEM pads.!

12,000km.  I don't know which pads but they are a bit worn so I assume they are originals.
