pointer2null 106
Thought the back brake piston had seized (binding on) so last night took it off. Went to pump the piston out and the rear brake lever moved once and now there is no resistance and it won't bleed/pump fluid. Cleaned up the piston anyhow and refitted with new seals etc and ordered a master cyclinder rebuild kit. So the question is, without having a manual, whats the best way to get the cylinder out of there? I can see it's held on with two bolts and the brake hoses have spring clips. The actuator rod from the rear brake pedal seems to be fixed with an awkward split pin, is there a better way to disengage it? Link to post
pointer2null 106
Found a manual - easiest way is to take the rest off then disengage the cylinder and link. 1 Link to post
