It looks like a comprehensive bit of kit...more complex than what we used at Johns of Romford back when I worked there. I suppose it all depends on the quality of construction and ease of use. Ive had it nearly 20 year and done many, many chains with it. And lots of people have borrow it. It's the most comprehensive breaker-riveter for the money. 1 Link to post
kayz1 2,928 Posted August 12, 2019 Share Posted August 12, 2019 Trouble is the new stuff is not made of the same materials as the stuff 20 years ago. Mine bent the pin first use, and i am not gamy handed i have used them all my life. I bought it in February this year off that Big American River site for the same money, mine is in a Blue plastic box that the catch has never worked.. In the end i made a new pin and hardened it my self, ok-ish now... 1 Link to post
