iaink 346
Can anyone advise the best lub to use on the lock barrels. On my last bike I used WD40 but wasn't sure if there was anything better that could be used. Any advice would be appreciated. Link to post
Mike5100 2,061
It's a good point Iain. I haven't used anything on mine yet and nearly found the lock jamming while away in Scotland this weekend. I'm just going to coat the key in ACF50 and insert it a few times in the two locks Mike Link to post
wozza 967
WD40 or a light oil like 3-1 should do nicely. I think it's great idea giving your bike locks some lube from time to time. Link to post
JaseR 213
My lock was becoming quite stiff (to the point I thought I'd snap the key) so I used the only thing to hand - WD40! Worked a treat. Link to post
Guest motorboy
To keep from gumming it up spray the key and stick it in a few times not in the lock.... Link to post
