Steve698 11
My NC750X has the factory fitted heated grips and the cable feeding the throttle grip causes the throttle to have about 5mm of play behind it, it isn't tight as such you can move it all the way closed with just fingertip pressure. So when you open the throttle and just let it go it returns fine and the idle is fine but you can turn the throttle another 5mm or so after the natural stop point. Question is when measuring the throttle free play do I measure from the natural stop position or the slightly forced closed position as the natural stop the free play is about 5/6mm but the forced position the play is about 12mm and I have noticed the throttle can be a touch snatchy when picked up from slow speed and thought It may be worth adjusting the free play first but do I currently have 6mm of free play or 12mm + ? Mr Toad 9,022
How is it when you move the bars fully to each side? It might need that bit extra to cope with 'full lock'. Link to post
Steve698 11
There doesn't appear to be any change on full lock either side to be honest. Link to post
