On way home Thhursday odd noises from rear  Checked NO play no issues

On way home friday   more noise  play ! limped home

Rear wheel on back my Grom and brought in the morning

All very corroded and inner of bearing fell out  I destroyed the oil seal removing it

Used a head race removle tool to grip outer race and removed it

Cleaned up the wheel and inner spacer

New bearings less inner seals lots grease in caverty put back looked up seal on Fowlers 30/47/7.5

Pulled out the first of several storage boxes full oil seals on top a 30/47/7.5  Well that went well

Now the put wheel on 125 ride home and refit !

So do you remove and leave off the inner bearing seal ?

Yes very old school   Inner oil seal off fit one bearing   put good quantity on grease into hub between bearings fit inner space and fit seccond bearing with inner oil seal removed  fit outer oil seal greasing between bearing and oil seal

This is how I was taught as a tranee mechanic At Lexport Ltd Bromley and Heron Suzuki GB in 1976!

Moder practice seem to be put it all up dry and hope !
