DCTPaul 629
Dyson V6 Stick... Stripped down... Brush head off and brush bar out... All hair cut off the roller, General de-manking with GT85. Tubes cleaned in and out, old sock squirted with GT85 and pushed down tube, carefull not to get it stuck, that Lavender clean GT85 smell... not quite Castrol R... Cyclone Head blown out with 'Air on a Can' Dust capture bit cleaned with warm soapy water and dried. DO NOT GT85 that bit or dust will stick! New Air filter (Patern Part not Dyson OE as now out of waranty...) care of Amazon Prime, while the other is washed and drying. Now gone for the Swapping 'One In / One Out' approach to Air Filter Maintenance. Performance issues have been resolved, less stutter and smoother running, with improved range... now makes it across the lounge, down the hall and to the top of the stairs on a full charge, where it used to suffer fuel starvation halfway up the hill climb.... Jeffprince 4,923
Did mine a few weeks back, following stripping instructions via YouTube. Made a huge difference to the suction. As they say…what’s the difference between an efficient vacuum cleaner and a randy admiral in the Swiss navy? One sucks but never fails…. 2 Link to post
