Decompression lever

My new toy has a decompression lever to help start the Yamaha serow! (Kick start only ) the bike is now stripped down in my garage , so while waiting for the DVlA paperwork to come through I am going over the bike ! Oil filter/ new spark plug ! Bit of respraying on the green frame etc ! However I also want to check the valves (only 2) inlet no problem easy accessible n However the other rocker cover has the decompression cable going to it ! Not sure what’s behind it /  anyone been down this alley before ! Havnt yet got a workshop manual ! Any ideas chaps !🥱
