moseydo82 0
Hi everyone, thanks for letting me join the group. I’ve bought a used 2015 NC750 (I believe it’s the S though) and it seems to be restricted. There is a certificate in the paper work and the throttle only seems to open a certain amount. Has anyone had and the derestricted an NC750 and know how easy (🤞) or hard this could be? I looked at a friends NC750 and it seems mine has an extra metal L shaped piece on the throttle cable where his does not. Thanks everyone Link to post
Bostedsprocket 213
Hi, if you kneel down and look at the throttle body from the left hand side, get a mate to open the throttle you will see the restricter stopping the throttle from turning fully, to remove this properly is a major pain but you can just bend it out of the way to achieve full throttle. CSMonkey 133
I picked up a restricted NC700S last year from a friend leaving the country. I dropped it in to my local bike mechanic for a couple of small jobs and removal of the restrictor. The mechanic did it in next to no time, so if you can afford a few quid it's an easy job for someone with the right tools and know how. Rich Link to post
