davebike 943 Posted April 13, 2023 Share Posted April 13, 2023 Not too shore what you mean The top of the dogbones run on a bolt though a bush 13 and two needle bearing 13 see below https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5850260/nc750x-abs-dual-clutch/swingarm The other lower end end is attached to the "arm" in a similar fasion https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5850261/nc750x-abs-dual-clutch/rear-cushion Not on a NC but I have changed similar needle bearings, if the bearing has failed the bushes will be horrid and pushing the needle bearing out and new ones in is not an easy task 3 Link to post
fj_stuart 4,753 Posted April 13, 2023 Share Posted April 13, 2023 I have no experience of the NC but have done it on other bikes. The needle roller can be driven out with a suitable drift. Be careful when re-fitting because they can be damaged if you go daft with a hammer. Here's a snap of me pressing the bearings into the rocker (cushion in Honda speak)) of my FJ using a threaded rod, nuts and washers. 5 Link to post
