djsb 493
My fuel pump hasn't been used for a while and has been sitting in a dry tank (the fuel hose has NOT been disconnected though). I'm guessing that it either needs servicing or replacement. Can a "servicing kit" be bought (and what would this contain), or would it need to be replaced? A second hand one may not be in a better condition, as my bike only has 13K miles on it. Thanks. Edited May 5 by djsb Link to post
Andy m 23,764
I wouldn't do anything special, just add fresh fuel, charge the battery and fire it up. It'll either work or not. There are no service kits I am aware of, if they fail you replace the whole unit. Andy Link to post
