Foggy surface on digital speedo on NC700x 2012

Hi,

      I just noticed today when I came back from a short ride that when I turned the ignition off, there was a foggy smeared appearance on the digital speedo. I thought it was just grime and tried to clean it off with WD40 but it doesn't shift.

 

Its hard to tell if its inside the speedo or on the exterior and difficult to decide if it is condensation or not.

 

Bike going fine and when the ignition is on everything is working and easy enough to see.

 

Anyone any ideas please as I am heading of to France next month and just abit concerned.

 

My bike is Jan 2012 has 8500m on clock and always garaged.
