DCT oil filter

Hi all,

 

Anyone knows with what model/nr from the oilfilter manufacturers (Hiflo,bosch,etc.....) the DCT filter is compatible...?

 

I dont think honda makes the filters themselves....

I got one from a Honda dealer, considering the cost (£8 or Eu10) once every 8000mls it hardly seems worth the effort of hunting around, though I understand the desire to keep costs down. 8k miles costs getting on for  £800 in fuel, tyres and engine oil/filter, so the DCT filter is about 1% of the total  so even at half price the savings are minimal.

 

I tend to change engine oil+filter once a year, considerably less than the 8k interval in the handbook, but I won't be changing the DCT filter every time, probably every 2 yrs will do with my mileage.

 

I apologise, that wasn't what you asked in the original question. The answer is no, I don't know.

thanks for the replys.....was only wondering.....i do all the maintenance myself and order my parts online....will buy a few when i pick up my bike friday...!
