After a 3000 mile tour there was about 3cm of oil in the pipe, 700 Integra.

probably constant riding at high rpm is the main reason for drain hose to fill.

Just checked mine for the first time. Dry as a whistle. I ride the bike very gently around 60 max so that probably explains it.

 I ride a fair amount on 'private' roads and the pipe is still as dry as a whistle and the engine doesn't appear to use any oil between checks.
