  1. When it hits 0,0 it starts to count how many miles and how many litres you have used since it changed to reserve. So if you know your reserve tank is 3litres, it tells you how much of that 3litres you have already got through. I work on the basis my car has approx 50miles left when the light hits red, so with the bike once it goes to 0.0 I gauge how much of my journey is left and where to fill up, when it gets to 25miles I start to get rather nervous.... but that's me being a wuss.   2. Yep. I wish Honda would use a better term for it, though. It is actually a "tip-over switch" which detects when the bike has tipped over and stops the engine and fuel injection system. "Bank angle sensor" is more commonly used to describe the type of sensor which gives a continuous reading of the bank angle of the bike whilst it is being driven. It is used by things like traction control systems and also the new "Won't-throw-you-off-even-while-banked-over" ABS systems finding their way onto exotic bikes.

  3. No, you've nailed it, mate. It shows how many gallons (or litres if you've got yours set to metric) you have used since the low fuel warning started. I guess by the time it gets to 0.5 you need to start getting worried.

  4. Yes as far as I can remember. There is a guide and tips for removing the springs online. It involves a rachet strap.

  6. And make sure it is genuine red rubber grease (vegetable oil based) and not that bicycle crap with added PTFE, its actually lithium based and swells brake seals.
