  1. I had the usual 2 problems, helmet being battered by the wind and sore arse (due to the seat I might add). My NC came with a Givi screen so I don't know if that helped or not. I bought a set of 30mm handlebar risers, what a difference, I'm sitting more upright so my head is higher, thus my helmet isn't being battered by the wind and my arse is a lot more comfortable due to the more upright position. The seat still isn't perfect but it is a lot better and all for £40. Brigante7.

  2. I perfectly agree. I don't know what it is with me (maybe that's how we were taught in the 1980s back in Germany) but for some reason I rarely use the front (in fact, I only use it - in combination with the rear break - to bolt the bike to the ground via an emergency stop). As said, I only do 'stop and go' in London and went through a set of Honda-pads in less than 3,000 miles!!!!! Before somebody points it out: the mounting bolt and the little-retaining-whatsitcalled-thingy were replaced and all bits'n'bobs of the calliper mount cleaned (not to perfection b

  3. Rear wheel has 3 bearing. One on the hub is honda's proprietary, but it never fails. Other two are the same as front wheel. You can buy them OEM NSK 6204DDU (honda's catalogues claim it is 6204DU, that is correct, but NSK's own partnumber 6204DDU, if you order 6204DU you'll get chinese instead of japanese ones. But the dustseal on bearing will be 6204DU, that is!). Wheel's dust seals can be cleaned and lubed and can continue working for many more miles (but you should check them anyway). It is best to use Liqui Moly Thermoflex Spezialfett - the grease designed to work with rubber/plastic wheel
