If you still have it in 8000 m you can do the next one ! just to get basic bits off I had about 2 dozen screws etc but now going back together 4 tight tappets made the job worth while - coolant done with silicate free antifreeze not been done before like it should have been ie dealer telling porkies

  3. I bought my last NC on PCP. It came with the chewing gum trailmax tyres. I wrote a letter to Honda Finance outlining the terms of the Supply of Goods (Implied Terms) Act 1973 (as amended) and the fact that I had entered into a PCP agreement with them. A couple of days later I got a phone call from them requesting I make an appointment with the dealer to have new tyres fitted. The dealer had previously shown absolutely zero interest in making representations to honda on my behalf. 4. To cut a long story short, coolants can use various additives to provide corrosion protection, silicates, borates etc. Those containing silicates can result in wear of the water pump face seal which will end up with it leaking from the tell-tale hole in the pump housing. The seal is not replaceable so it means a new/secondhand pump. Many coolants commercially available are silicate free, it should state that on the label, always check. Lots to choose from, I use Toyota Red personally, Halfords own brand is available, etc etc.

  7. Don't know the 750 Integra panels, but the 700 Integra is something of a pain. The black front cowl is straightforward, as long as you find all the fixings. Most are the push-in centre pin type, but there are a couple of panel screws which go into the bracketry, near where the horn is. You have to take the shiny panel over the ait filter off to get at a panel screw at the top rear corner holding the side panel on. To get the shiny panel off you take the two panel screws out just forwards of the handlebars and lift the panel vertically to unclip the half dozen or so spring clips, except it
