  1. Hi Mike, I can stick it in a jiffy bag and send it to you, please PM me your postal address. I'm not looking for anything for it, but was thinking - once you receive it and prove that it works ok, why don't you make a donation to the Just Giving page for Dentonlad. The money will then go to a good cause.

  3. Just copied these sizes from an advert for 'top quality' feeler gauges.. "Super accurate, 12 Blade, Metric and Imperial Angled Tappet Gauge with 95mm long angled blades. All blades are hardened and polished for a longer life. Each feeler blade is marked with its size and folds into a polished steel case with thumbscrew. An invaluable feeler gauge set, designed for accurate precision work. Metric - mm 0.203, 0.254, 0.305, 0.330, 0.356, 0.381, 0.406, 0.457, 0.483, 0.508, 0.635 and 0.660mm. Imperial - inch 0.008, 0.010, 0.012, 0.013, 0.014, 0.015, 0.016, 0.018, 0.019, 0.020,

  4. One reason not to is that Screwfix - for some absurd and astonishing reason - haven't bothered to list the sizes! So you've no idea what precision they offer. Really you need a set that will resolve to 0.02mm. 0.05mm is too big a jump. Beware some of those on "that auction site" that are Metric/Imperial combined. Some of them have standard imperial sizes (i.e. integer values in thous) and the metric sizes are weird fractional numbers - just the equivalent metric measurement stamped onto an imperial gauge. WTF? I would stick to a metric-only set. Amazon d
