  1. You mean you want to go against 25 years of Internet tradition??

  2. You'll know better than to try that again! I think that bill is quite reasonable. Let's face it, a decent oil is £40 and the filter must be a tenner..

  3. Great news! Glad it's fixed and at a reasonable cost. In future remember, bikes are for fun, Defenders are for towing 😄

  4. I have absolutely no idea how 'rejection' works. Obviously the purchaser gets his money back, but who takes the 'hit'? Is it the dealer? Don't see why it should be, not his fault. Can he return the machine to Honda UK and get his money back? Plainly the machine (even if fully repaired) can never again be 'new' and can only be sold on as 'used'. Anyone actually 'know' rather than guess?

  7. How things have changed, when I had to have a bike recovered many years ago, I had to sit on it whilst it was winched on the back of the recovery truck, it was a bit scary and the floor of the load bed was quite slippery. The front wheel carriage is a much better idea, takes away the danger of a topple over, the much lambasted Health and Safety advances have made an improvement there in my opinion.

  8. You could probably have it re-furbished at a radiator specialist. Most towns have a place that can do this and they come out as good as new. Well for cars, but the construction is the same...
