Guest hirsute1956
Came out of a meeting last night in Rhyl about 9pm. Cold, wet and very windy. Instrument lights wouldn't come on - everything else worked fine and could see what I needed where there were streetlights. Home after a cautious 40 min ride (normally 30 min). Checked this morning and all fine. Any ideas? Bike is a 2012 NC700x Cofion, John Link to post
Guest miguelsanchez666
I would check connectors. To access it you would need to remove screen. Link to post
bazza 3,629
I think you can adjust brightness -read the manual! maybe just really dim? Link to post
Joeyjoejnr 96
I think you can adjust brightness -read the manual! maybe just really dim? Even on the dimmist setting the dash is still bright. You would defo see it. My was on the brightest setting and I found it caused a glare off the givi screen which was irritating. Op it's quite easy to remove the dash. It's plug and play. Just check if any water got into the connection. Link to post

aquaboy 105
yes..... my dash back light just went out tonight on way home, sitting at some traffic lights with a police car beside me!! Link to post
kharli 100
I have to spray the dash regularly with wd40 to stop damp getting in the front cover , you can see the wd bubbling on mine in the bottom left corner of the clear bit when just sprayed and put in the sun ..since I've been doing that no more steaming up either. But I am out or parked regularly in really wet weather but still it shouldn't happen . Link to post
aquaboy 105
Dash light has started working again all on its own Link to post
