Chain slack

Far be it from me to comment or suggest what you should use in your garage on your motorcycle - all i'm going to suggest is: WD40 was formulated as a water dispersant carrying a light lubricant.

 

I prefer to use something that may provide longer chain life and lubricate the o or x rings and prevent unnecessary wear in the sprocket to chain interface.

 

I do have WD40 in my garage and it works wonders on light duty hinges, latches and on a rag to clean things.
